brigitte bardot on trial for racism

"French former film star Brigitte Bardot went on trial on Tuesday for insulting Muslims, the 5th time she has faced the charge of 'inciting racial hatred' over her controversial remarks about Islam and its followers. Prosecutors asked the Paris court hand the 73-year-old former sex symbol a two-month suspended prison sentence and fine her $23,760 for saying the Muslim community was 'destroying our country and imposing its acts'. She has been fined four times for racial hatred since 1997."

"I am fed up with being under the thumb of this population which is destroying us, destroying our country and imposing its acts," she has said.

lets have a gossip girl moment

It's officially lingerie season (summer?), so have a Blair and Serena night by hanging with your girlfriends, watching Audrey Hepburn movies, wearing vintage (more like vintage-looking) lingerie, and drinking gin and lime juice (If you didn't read the first book you wouldn't understand). Forever 21 is stocked with many cute and affordable lingerie pieces lately.

So this is my new blog, the new me. I like to refer to it as a "glamour lifestyle" blog, because it is not solely focused on clothing, but anything to make your life more fashionable. I'm done with the fancy-shmancy stuff, I'm done trying to keep up with all the advanced fashion blogs out there. This is much more from myself and about my likes, instead of trying to write about what pleases others. My only wish for this blog is that I can share a little of my good taste with anyone who's interested ;)
